Research topics



I hold a Master degree in Art Science and Archaeology (2007, Free University of Brussels). My main topic of interest is historical ecology. Especially the historical ecology of woodland and forests.
My research is based on the examination of written sources (from the Middle Ages onwards), cartography, iconography, toponymy, Digital Elevation Model (DEM), oral sources and landscape archaeological fieldwork.
