English taught programmes
Most academic programmes at the FBE are organized according to the European 3-5-8 system with a 3 year Bachelor programme in Bioscience engineering, 2 year Master programmes and a PhD in Applied Biological sciences (eventually combined with a PhD training programme in one of the Doctoral Schools). The offer of the study programmes is as diverse as is the central topic of our research and education: the living matter.
Our Bachelor programme is only taught in Dutch, whereas there are 2-years Master Programmes in Dutch, leading to the title of Bio-engineer, 7 English taught 2-year Master Programmes and 1 Advanced Master Programme in Dutch and 1 in English (based on a Master degree).
