Optimizing feed intake and animal health

In feed industry enzymes are widely used to enhance digestibility of raw material and bio-availability of nutrients and thus help to lower the impact of animal production on the environment.

But enzymes are proteins which are known to be susceptible for heat treatment, so research has been done to increase the heat stability of enzyme products.

The Feed Technology Lab is equipped with a unique small scale pilot feed production unit which enables to perform enzyme tests at various parameters (temperatures and residence times) with limited feed amounts.

The lab is an important partner in the registration of new enzyme products.

We help companies to:

  • develop and register products to optimize feed intake
  • optimize animal health
  • reduce environmental impact of animal production.
