Description

Seven out of ten people find jobs through their network. When you know people it is easier to hear about job openings. Networking is connecting with people to create opportunities for both yourself and others in your network. Networking is building relationships with people within your professional environment and beyond. Networking will help you to consider and learn about new career options. It will also help you to create a clearer view on your professional goals.

Many doctoral researchers find it difficult to define their career aspirations. When introducing themselves they refer to what they do.
I do research into neurodegenerative diseases

When connecting to others you will raise more impact when you tell them why you do the work that you do.

I am really passionate to understand and combat Alzheimer. Alzheimer is predicted to affect 1 in 85 people globally by 2050. I would love to be involved in future drug development programs.

In this training we will help you to discover your career aspirations. This is essential for building effective professional relations and creating a consistent personal brand. We will do this by using the tools of LEGO® Serious Play™.
