Which courses can you take?

Regulations

Starting from the academic year 2009-2010, the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture offers an even wider variety of courses taught in English. As an exchange student, you can choose courses from these lists. You can also take courses from other faculties, but at least half of your ECTS credits have to obtained at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture.

Please note that for 1 semester the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture requires a study programme of at least 20 ECTS credits, for a full academic year a programme of at least 40 ECTS credits is required (with a maximum of 62 ECTS)

Exceptions can be made only for students who need less credits to achieve their degree in their home university (for example only their master thesis).  In this case, please provide proof.

Courses at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture

If  Dutch is your mother tongue, if you have sufficient knowledge of Dutch or if you are an Erasmus Belgica student you can also choose courses taught in Dutch from the course catalogue.

You can also follow courses from other faculties. For their study programmes and further details please check the course catalogue. Contact the International Relations Office of this Faculty to be sure whether or not you can follow this course.
