Itinerary

By car

  • If you are coming from Brussels (Brussel) or Ostend (Oostende) the motorway E40 (Brussel-Gent-Oostende), leave the E40 at the cloverleaf E40/E17 and follow direction "E17 Gent-Antwerpen". On the E17, take exit "B401 Gent" and follow "Gent-Centrum" or "Alle richtingen".
  • If you are coming from Antwerp (Antwerpen) via the motorway E17 (Antwerpen-Gent-Kortrijk), take exit "Gent-centrum" and follow "Gent-Centrum".
  • If you are coming from Kortrijk via the motorway E17 (Antwerpen-Gent-Kortrijk), take exit "B401 Gent" and follow "Gent-Centrum" or "Alle richtingen".

Then take a left at the crossing (underneath the fly-over), after which you are driving on the ring road. At the second traffic lights (Heuvelpoort), take a right into the Overpoortstraat. Go straight on, passed the Sint-Pietersplein, to the Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat. The second street on the left is the Rozier, the third on the left is the Jozef Plateaustraat. Opposite the Jozef Plateaustraat, at your right side, you will find the Technicum building.

By train

From the railway station Gent-Sint-Pieters, it is a 20-minute walk to the Technicum building.

At the railway station Gent-Sint-Pieters, you can also take tram number 1 (tram platform number 2) in the direction of "Wondelgem Industrieweg" and stop at "Verlorenkost" (map). Walk along the Jozef Plateaustraat until you get to the Sint-Pietersnieuwstraat. The Technicum building is next to the student restaurant "De Brug".

By plane

In Brussels Airport, take the train to "Brussel Noord" (about 15 minutes), and change for Gent-Sint-Pieters (about 50 minutes). From railway station Gent-Sint-Pieters, proceed as mentioned above.
