Scientific services
The Magnel Laboratory for Concrete Research offers scientific services in various sectors of the construction industry. These activities are situated in both the sector of civil construction and the sector of industrial and domestic buildings, on demand of producers of construction materials, certification committee's, public authorities, designers, contractors and owners. A qualified staff and extensive infrastructure are available for these services.
In the framework of a 'TAD' consultancy unit of the Magnel Laboratory, funded by the IWT, technology transfer and innovative developments in construction are supported.
The Magnel Laboratory is recognized by the Flemish Goverment for several test categories. Furthermore, the laboratory is certified according to EN ISO 17025 (accreditation certificates BELAC no 220-TEST and 220-CAL).
