Kim Van Tittelboom (Master in Industrial Sciences 2007, PhD in Civil Engineering 2012) is professor in the field of Structural Engineering at Ghent University (Faculty of Engineering and Architecture, Department of Structural Engineering).

In her research she focusses on sustainable structural engineering through:

  • Self-healing of cracks in concrete
  • Preventing reinforcement corrosion
  • 3D printing of concrete
