Karlheinz Friedrich (University Hospital Jena, Institute of Biochemistry II, Germany) will be our guest speaker.
More information on his talk: Exploiting the properties of the TSLP ligand-receptor system, we combined the intracellular, signal-generating segment of the TSLPR with ligand binding segments from representatives of different receptor families to obtain multiple functional hybrid receptors and reporter cell lines. The usefulness of the approach will be demonstrated by the analysis of proteins interfering with the activation of the TSLP receptor complex.
