An information desk, information brochures about all study programmes, an information library and a team of student advisors are available for all (prospective) students.
The IRO Student Support assists international students in finding their way at Ghent University before and upon arrival. The IRO Student Advisers provide information and meet the specific needs of international students.
In your faculty you can turn to the so called Monitoring Service. Student counsellors and learning path counsellors are available for individual advice and guidance concerning specific study choices or matters particularly related to the chosen study or to talk over possible re-orientation.
The Student Counselling Office helps you in finding the appropriate study attitude and in improving of your study skills. Counselling if you are dealing with personal or psychological problems affecting your studies is also provided.
