Student restaurants and cafeterias

In Ghent there is a wide range of student restaurants (staff are also welcome). They are all situated in the vicinity of the various faculties and departments.

The service and food they offer is of a high quality, while the prices are the lowest in town. The restaurants serve over 4000 meals on a daily basis.

Dieticians make sure that the menus are varied, healthy and balanced. Vegetarian alternatives are available (no halal or kosher kitchen).

Do not forget to bring your student or personnel card with you: otherwise you must pay a higher price for your food.

• Faculty of Bioscience Engineering (Coupure Links 653): lunch
• Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences (Dunantlaan 2) :lunch
• Sint-Jansvest (Sint-Jansvest 24): lunch
• Campus Merelbeke (Salisburylaan 133, Merelbeke): lunch

Note: in restaurants De Brug and Overpoort an additional 4 snacks are on offer.

Club Het Pand

Recently renovated, Het Pand offers UGent students and staff first class fine dining in its restaurant or a trendy meeting place with its lounge bar.

Besides à la carte dishes, you can order one of the three menu suggestions.

All guests are advised to make a reservation. Staff and students receive a 17,5% discount if they can produce their personnel or staff card.
