Since October 1st 2005, Prof Luc Moens is vice-rector of Ghent University. He was elected by the members of the faculty boards and occupies this position until September 30th 2013. Together with the rector, Prof Luc Moens manages Ghent University.

Prof Luc Moens (°Bornem, 1954) is professor at the faculty of Sciences. He started his career at the university in 1975. From 2002 until 2005 he was also dean of this faculty.

He is amongst others president of:
