Erasmus Mundus Action 2 – scholarships for USA/Canada - deadline 1 March 2013
The Erasmus Mundus programme is a cooperation and mobility programme in the ﬁeld of higher education. Through it, the European Commission aims to enhance quality in European higher education and to promote cooperation with third countries. The programme is intended to strengthen international links in higher education by supporting high-quality joint international Masters en PhD Courses, by enabling students and visiting scholars from around the world to engage in study at European universities, as well as by encouraging the outgoing mobility of European students and scholars towards third countries.
One of the current projects is focusing on PhD, post-doc and academic staff mobility to USA/Canada: the TEE project.
- PhD: 6-10-25 months
- Post-doc: 6 months
- Academic staff: 1 month
- PhD: 1500 euro/month
- Post-doc: 1800 euro/month
- Academic staff: 2500 euro/month
Who can apply?
TEE scholarships are aimed at students, researchers, and staff who are nationals from USA, Canada and Europe (i.e. with US, Canadian or European passport) and who are registered (or are working, for University staff grants) at a TEE Partner University.
Please take into account the following specific requirements:
- For doctorate mobility, candidates must be currently registered in a doctoral programme in a Partner University.
- For post-doctorate mobility, candidates must have obtained a doctorate degree in the last two years and must have the support of a Partner University to carry out post-doctorate mobility.
