How to apply?
1. Fulfil the academic admission requirements
2. Check the application deadlines
Behind the scenes
- The International Admissions Desk will check the general, academic requirements and the authenticity of the provided documents, before sending the application file through to the faculty involved.
- The faculty will go into more detail and determine whether the candidate's degree is sufficiently related, and will thus decide on whether or not to grant admission. Other application documents, such as CV and grade sheets, will also be considered in the decision-making.
Letter of admission
If the application was succesful, the candidate will receive a letter of admission. This letter enables one to:
- apply for a visa
- apply for a scholarship
- enrol for the Preparatory Year of Dutch
- enrol as a UGent student
NOTE - keep in mind that applying for a scholarship and applying for admission at UGent are two different things. Applying for funding does not imply that UGent has received your application. And being granted funding does not imply that you have been accepted at UGent.
