How to apply
International degree students can be granted admission if they fulfil the academic and legal requirements.
The application form cannot be downloaded and must be requested by e-mail. To make it easier to apply we have one application form for all levels of study. We encourage you to start the application procedure well in advance.
Applying for academic admission, does not mean that you are also applying for a scholarship. You need to contact organisations directly.
After having submitted your complete application package, it can take on average 3 months, before a result is known. Therefore, deadlines have been set in place.
Applications will not be considered if they are not accompanied by a legalised copy of the diploma and all required documents. A checklist of all required documents is included in the application form.
When your application was successful, you will receive a letter of admission. This letter enables you to:
- apply for a visa;
- apply for a scholarship;
- enrol for the Preparatory Year of Dutch;
- enrol as a UGent student.
