The China Platform is the central point of contact within Ghent University for all matters relating to China. It directs and supports cooperation initiatives in education and research from within UGent and by external parties (government, private or third parties).

Current Cooperation

The China Platform aims to be an academic centre for information exchange. One of its most  important task is to actively establish more cooperation in education and research. 

The China Platform also serves as a contact point between externals and China.To optimize mutual support and co-organized activities, a cooperation agreement was set up with the Flanders-China Chamber of Commerce (FCCC), the Province of East Flanders and the City of Ghent.

Chinese UGent alumni network

Ghent University wants to keep in touch with her Chinese alumni through the China Platform. The Chinese UGent alumni network associates Chinese students that have studied and/or obtained a PhD at Ghent University.

APS screening

Students with a Chinese dimploma who intend to study in Belgium need an APS certificate to get visum.
