The IRO is the office within the Central UGent Administration that is in charge of implementing the international policy of Ghent University.

It promotes, informs, counsels and supports the Ghent University community to give shape to its international endeavours.

Regular office hours are from 9h00 till 17h00, from Monday till Friday. We usually have a lunch break of approximately one hour, between 12h-14h.

Students can get assistance at the IRO Student Support from Monday to Friday from 13h00 till 17h00.

UGent and IRO are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, on official Belgian and Flemish holidays, during the "Gentse Feesten" and in between Christmas and New Year.  Do not hesitate to make an appointment, as it is difficult - if not impossible - to predict when we are on private holidays, on a mission abroad, in a meeting, etc.
