Late (re-)enrolment

Only on an exceptional basis, will the Dean (or curriculum committee) grant an enrolment after the set enrolment period.

Diploma contract

From 1 October onwards, a written consent from the Dean is required for a late enrolment. You need to contact the Faculty Student Administration (FSA). The Dean has a right to deny you to take up certain course units.
Attention: from 15 November you cannot take up 1st semester course units when (re-)enrolling (except when you change your study programme within UGent, an advanced master programme or specific teacher's training). Additionally, the Dean has a right to deny you to take up certain course units.
(Re-)enrolment is closed from 1 March onwards.

From 1 October onwards, a written consent from the curriculum committee is required for a late enrolment. You need to contact the learning track counsellor (trajectbegeleider). See Monitoring Services.
From 15 November you cannot take up 1st semester course units when (re-) enrolling (enrolments are closed - no exceptions).
You can enrol for 2nd semester course units or year-course units up to and including 28 February.
(Re-)enrolment is closed from 1 March onwards.

From 1 October you are required to obtain permission from the Dean of the faculty for re-enrolment.
