Postgraduate studies
Ghent University offers a range of international programmes and advanced master programmes. The Advisory Centre for Students offers all information concerning further studies at Ghent University and helps students to find information about studies elsewhere in Belgium.

PhD-research
Ghent University is an active player in the field of research and welcomes creative input from well-motivated young scientists. Expertise, staffing and guidance are available for scientists who want to work intensively on an original contribution to knowledge in a particular field of research. Early-stage researchers are given specific support and training through the Doctoral Schools. The Advisory Centre for Students provides interested graduates and alumni with information about PhD-studies at Ghent University.

Information sessions
Each year information sessions (in Dutch) are organized at UGent about studying abroad (how to get started, funding, etc.), PhD-studies and labour market related topics. A specific information session in English for international students interested in PhD-research is organized each year at the end of the first semester. The yearly Graduation Fair Ghent University Association is the coping stone for graduating students.
