Ghent University is proud to welcome each year an ever growing number of international staff.

The staff members of the relatively new International Staff Office are there for:

• Ghent University PhD Scholarship recipients ('Dehoussebursalen')
• International researchers and academic staff on the university payroll
  

We aim to be your contact from pre-arrival to departure, providing information and/or advise on:

• Administrative affairs: visa and immigration issues, contract, salary, ...
  
• Social matters: professional leave, housing, health and medical care, family issues, daily life in Ghent, ...
