Pharmaceutical Care Unit
The Pharmaceutical Care Unit is a young research group (established in 2005), under the supervision of Professor Koen Boussery. The group carries out research into the effectiveness of pharmaceutical care, especially in community pharmacies. Such research is necessary in order to provide a scientific foundation for care provision in pharmacies, and to arrive at ‘evidence-based’ pharmaceutical care in this way.
