The LPM provides service to the industry and other interested parties in various areas. Assays currently carried out include:

• - microbiological assay of antibiotics;
• - testing of pharmaceuticals (bioburden determination, preservative efficacy  testing, ...);
• - testing of antibiofilm activity of disinfectants; and
• - testing of antibiofilm activity of modified surfaces.
