The DSC 2920 Differential Scanning Calorimeter (TA Instruments)

Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) is a thermal analysis technique which has been used for more than two decades to measure the temperatures and heat flows associated with transitions in materials as a function of time and temperature. Such measurements provide qualitative and quantitative information about physical and chemical changes that involve endothermic and exothermic processes, or changes in heat capacity.

The DSC 2920 has outstanding baseline performance, the highest calorimetric sensitivity (0.2µW) available, and covers the temperature range -180 to 725°C. Optional accessories include pressure DSC, dual sample DSC, differential photocalorimetry, an autosampler, high temperature (1600°C) DTA and modulated DSC.
