Candidates who are interested in a postdoctoral fellowship at the Department of Sociology are encouraged to apply for a Pegasus Marie Curie Fellowships with the Research Foundation Flanders.
Pegasus is a research funding scheme of the Research Foundation Flanders (FWO) destined for experienced researchers (at postdoctoral level) in all scientific areas.

Two options are possible within the programme:
- Pegasus-long: postdoctoral fellowship of 3 years, renewable once. 30 fellowships are available, to be granted in a single call (to be launched in November 2011, deadline for application February 1, 2012)
- Pegasus-short: postdoctoral fellowship of 1 year, non renewable. 6 calls, distributed over 3 years. Deadlines: February 2012 and May 2012.
