Betty Queffelec

Betty Queffelec has a Master in Law of the Sea. In 2006 she became Doctor in Law, her PhD topic was "Biological diversity as a tool to recompose nature international law: marine example".

The research of Betty Queffelec is situated in the field of biodiversity, integrated marine and coastal zone management, law and policy.

She moved from University of Brest (France), where she was working on Integrated Coastal Zone Management and Climate Change, to the Maritime Institute in Ghent, in the framework of a Marie Curie Post-doctorat to conduct a research on Marine Spatial Planning in a transboundary context (TransmaSP).
