• Centre for Environmental and Energy law

  
  This unit covers all scientific research within the Faculty of Law in areas of Environmental and Energy law. Staff includes members of the departments of Public Law, International Public Law and Civil Law.

• Human Rights Centre

  Prof. Dr. E. Brems and Prof. Dr. J. Vande Lanotte both run this centre, which specialises in human rights research. Prof. Dr. D. Voorhoof from the Communication department of the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences contributes in areas concerning freedom of speech and freedom of the press.

• International Human Rights Academy

  This two week course is organised every year in one of these locations: The Netherlands (University Utrecht), South Africa (University of Western Cape and University of Pretoria), Belgium (University Brussels and University Ghent) en de United States of America (American University Washington College of Law).

• Seneca forum for Educational Law

  The SENECA Forum primarily aims to provide networking opportunities to anyone (lawyers, researchers, schools, students,...) interested in the field of educational law. The Forum website encourages the study of educational law and promotes activities by the Seneca Forum team, led by Prof. Ludo Veny.
