NutriSEA members visit UGent TechTransfer
(29-03-2017) Members of NutriSEA visit Ghent University
In November 2016, colleagues from UGent TechTransfer gave lectures during the NutriSEA sessions in Vietnam. On March 29, 2017, members of NutriSEA came to visit Ghent University and met the colleagues of UGent TechTransfer in the iGent-building on TechLane Ghent Science Park.
The NutriSEA project is funded by the European Commission’s Erasmus+ programme and is coordinated by the IOF consortium Food2Know of Ghent University.
The aim of NutriSEA is to build HR capacity to ensure a sustainable food value chain model based on entrepreneurship and creating added value to food production in Southeast Asia.
Furthermore NutriSEA aims to enhance university-enterprise cooperation as well as regional and (inter)national cooperation and networking.
It focusses on food-related developments, the cooperation with enterprises via Technology Transfer Offices and strengthening internationalisation at partner universities in Cambodia, Myanmar and Vietnam. The long-term goal is to set up a regional food network with stakeholders from academia, business and authorities.
