Mailing lists

What?

ICES uses mailing lists to inform you about new initiatives. To prevent an abundance of unwanted messages we use a different mailing list for each initiative. You only subscribe to the topics that interest you. This way you only receive information that is relevant to you.

The number of messages is limited to one or at most a few per mailing list per year. The e-mails contain links to pages on this website. Mailing list messages never contain attachments.

How to subscribe?

Method 1

Click on the name of the mailing list. A new e-mail will open. All you need to do is click on the send button.

Method 2

If method 1 doesn't work you can send an e-mail to listserv@lists.ugent.be with subscribe namelist in the title field, leaving the message itself empty and substituting the word namelist with the name of one of the mailinglists below.

Example: To receive information on the Workshops on Transferable Skills send an e-mail to listserv@lists.UGent.be with subscribe workshops in the title.

Mailing lists

  • - information on the yearly and modular statistics program.
  • - information on the Workshops on Transferable Skills, organized yearly for master and doctoral students in science.

This list only mentions the mailing lists that use English as language of communication. For a full list please visit the Dutch website.

How to unsubscribe?

You can unsubscribe from a mailing list at any time.

To do this simply write an e-mail to listserv@lists.UGent.be with unsubscribe namelist in the title field leaving the body of the message empty and substituting the word namelist with the name of the mailing list of your choosing in the list below.

Please note: You need to send this message from the e-mail account you used to subscribe initially and not an e-mail account that forwards to that address.

Example: To no longer receive information on the Workshops on Transferable Skills, write an e-mail to listserv@lists.UGent.be with unsubscribe workshops in the title.
