Welcome on the website of the Deparment of Physiology from Ghent University. The Deparment was founded on 1 januari 2009.

The research units Functional Plant biology (FPB), the Lab for Eukaryotic Gene Expression and Signal Transduction and the Laboratory of Zoophysiology joined forces to form the Department Of Physiology. The main goal of the department is to combine the expertise on physiology. The department wants to create a physiologic platform at the UGent by different cooperations.
