ASEANplus travel grants

Our platform issues 2 types of travel grants: .

• Mobility grants (South-North): these grants enable Asian colleagues to visit Ghent University for a short research stay. The objective is to initiate or strengthen partnerships between Ghent University and ASEANplus institutes

• ASEANplus Chaperone grants (North-South): with this initiatives we encourage senior Ghent University staff with distinct development cooperation experience to give the opportunity to a team member with little or no development cooperation experience to join him/her on a mission or project meeting in order to gain experience and develop his/her own cooperation opportunities.
