    • IMRD:
      • € 4,500/academic year for EU students
      • € 9,000/academic year for non-EU
    • SINReM:
      • € 6,000/academic year for EU students, European Economic Area (EEA) and Switzerland
      • fee waiver down to € 2,000 for European (EEA) students
      • € 12,000/academic year for non-EU.

NOTE THAT WITHOUT VALID LANGUAGE CERTIFICATE YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A SCHOLARSHIP, NOR BE ALLOWED TO ENROL AT GHENT UNIVERSITY!

International Master of Science

 Complete the application form before 1 March 2018 to be taken into account for a scholarship

After having submitted your application file in EConsort, your academic admissibility to the programme will be assessed. In case the outcome is positive, you will have to complete your file by sending legalised copies of your Bachelor degree and Transcripts of Academic Records, as well as a valid language certificate to our offices. You will be informed throughout the application process on how to proceed.

Mind that without legalised documents your file cannot be processed whatsoever.

Scholarship application

Do respect the deadline of 1 March 2018 for scholarship application.

  • IMRD and SINREM: When completing the application form for the IMRD or SINREM consortium, you can indicate whether you wish to be selected for a scholarship.

The offer of the study programmes is as diverse as is the central topic of our research and education: the living matter. Most of our academic programmes are organized according to the European system:

    • 1 and 2 year Master programmes, taught in English
    • a PhD in Applied Biological sciences (possibly combined with a PhD training programme in one of the Doctoral Schools)
