Last year the Commission for Diversity and Well-being @ FBW issued a questionnaire on experiences with - and perceptions towards diversity at our faculty. In total 320 (Ph.D.) students filled out the questionnaire. On the 14th of February, we are very keen to present you the results.

The presentation will be followed by a talk of Sibo Kanobana. Dr. Kanobana acquired a Ph.D. in sociolinguistics at Ghent University. he is currently Assistant Professor in Postcolonial and Cultural Studies at Open Universiteit. He will talk about the importance and practicalities of intercultural communication.

Afterward, we would like to hear from our audience. What are your ideas to make our faculty a more inclusive and safer space?

After the session, Komaf Koffie serves coffee with or without milk or sugar, but always with a chat and a smile. Their professional baristas are entrants who like to show their coffee skills and have a cozy talk with you!
