Support for the organisation of a symposium or study trip

Aim

The Scientific Research Committee (CWO) provides financial support for study trips and the mobility of invited speakers at symposiums organized at the FBE if these events are open to a broad audience.

Who can apply?

  • All predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers at the FBE.

Requirements

Symposium

  • The symposium has to have international invited speakers.
  • The target audience has to be broad
  • The symposium must be broadly communicated (e.g. mailing lists, faculty agenda,...)

Study trip

  • The necessity of the initiative has to be well described in the application

Grant

Symposium

  • transport costs of the invited speaker(s)
  • accommodation costs of the invited speaker(s)

Study trip

  • Transport costs (E.G. bus rental fee)
  • Accommodation costs
