Oka started her career as a researcher at Indonesian Citrus and Subtropical Fruits Research Institute (ICSFRI) – Indonesian Agency of Agricultural Research and Development (IAARD), Ministry of Agriculture, Indonesia, in 2009. She graduated from a Master of Soil Science in School of Agriculture at Gadjah Mada University, granted a scholarship from the Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. Currently, her Ph.D. project at Sofer about Predicting Potential Nitrogen Mineralization from Intensively Managed Agricultural Fields: The Influence of Measuring Methodologies is supervised by Prof. Stefaan De Neve and Dr. Koen Willekens from the Institute for Agricultural and Fisheries Research (ILVO).
