Zhao joined the PaInT group as a PhD student in September 2022. Before that, he got his master's degree in Food Science at South China Agricultural University (SCAU), mainly studying the distribution of antioxidants in Pickering emulsions. Currently, he dedicates on the relationship between heat-induced protein changes in skim milk (powder) and its heat-stabilizing effect in recombined evaporated milk.
