Launch Event - Milcobel endowed Chair on Dairy Research

(02-01-2020) Ghent University celebrates the launch of the new Milcobel endowed Chair on Dairy Research at Het Pand, Ghent

Ghent University and its Faculty of Bio-engineering Sciences would like to invite you to the launch of the Milcobel Chair for Dairy Research. This chair is a collaboration with the company Milcobel, the largest dairy cooperative in Belgium, to collectively conduct groundbreaking and practice-oriented research. Thanks to this research, we want to gain more insight into the behaviour of milk proteins and how to use them to broaden current applications in the dairy industry.

At this event, multiple speakers will share their insights regarding:

  • Research and innovation and its importance for the Flemish agri-food sector
  • The foundation of the Milcobel chair on Dairy Research
  • The interests in fundamental research on milk proteins

We conclude with a networking moment where you can taste a delicious assortment of Milcobel cheese!
