Research themes: Borders, migration governance and people on the move

Alexandra Berger is a political scientist and a joint PhD researcher at UGent and at Europa-Universität Flensburg in Germany, where she also works as a research and teaching assistant. At Europa-Universität Flensburg, she teaches Bachelor-level courses on EU foreign policy and international relations. Alexandra is also a scholarship holder of the German Academic Exchange Service. She holds an MA in world politics and international relations from Pavia University (Italy) and a BA in Cultural Anthropology and Development Studies from Radboud University Nijmegen (the Netherlands).
