Research themes: Discrimination, racism and prejudice

Louis is an interdisciplinary PhD researcher in labour economics and sociology of labour at Ghent University and Vrije Universiteit Brussel, respectively. His academic work focuses on the determinants and mechanisms of and contextual factors contributing to hiring discrimination. He has a background in consulting, where he was involved in data governance and data analytics projects. Moreover, he has obtained a master's degree in industrial and organisational psychology and a business degree in management. Louis' expertise extends from audit studies and experimental research to applied psychometrics and data visualisation.
