The education provided by the Department of Pharmacology, Toxicology and Biochemistry is supported by state of the art research. The following courses are lectured in the undergraduate and graduate program of Veterinary Medicine:

Specialization in veterinary pharmacology and toxicology
The Laboratory of Pharmacology and Toxicology is an approved training center for residents in veterinary pharmacology and toxicology.
After three years of postgraduate training (residency), and passing the board examination, the resident can become an EBVS European Specialist in Veterinary Pharmacology and Toxicology (Diplomat of the ECVPT).
Prof. dr. Mathias Devreese (ECVPT Diplomat) is the residency program director.
