For veterinarians interested in learning the basic techniques and organisational aspects involved in the in vitro production of equine embryos, a hands-on workshop is organised.

Thursday 02/03/2023

• 8u30 – 10u00: Presentation: OPU technique, clinical aspects
• 10u00 – 10u30: coffee break
• 10u30 – 12u00: Demonstration: OPU in the mare
• 12u00 - 13u30: lunch
• 13u30- 17u00: Workshop: (small group rotation) OPU in the mare and oocyte manipulation: : participants are given the opportunity to perform OPU sessions in the mare and will be trained in the several steps in the lab. 
• 18.30h : dinner

• 10u00 – 10u30: coffee break
• 10u30 – 12u00: Workshop: Handling of sperm and oocytes for ICSI
• 12u00 - 13u30: lunch
• 13u30 - 17u00: Workshop: ICSI, embryo cryopreservation, thawing and transfer (hands-on)
