6 November 2019: Launch of 'From PhD to SME 2020'

(01-10-2019) Join us for the info session about the 2020 edition of 'From PhD to SME' followed by the wrap event of the 2019 edition, from 17:30 in the Aula, Ghent.

You are cordially invited to the festive evening launch of the 2020 edition of 'From PhD to SME', which will take place in the Aula (Ceremoniezaal - Voldersstraat 9, Gent) on 6 November 2019.

'From PhD to SME' is a 1-year leadership programme for doctoral researchers run by Voka East Flanders and Ghent University (Doctoral Schools & Postdoc Talent Management). The aim of 'From PhD to SME' is to build bridges between the world of research and small and medium-sized enterprises. 16 doctoral researchers are given the unique opportunity to gain first-hand (leadership) experience in a Flemish SME in order to increase their hiring potential and to smooth their transition into the non-academic labour market.

On 6 November people who are interested in taking part in the 2020 edition of the programme are welcome for an information session, which will be followed by the wrap event of the 2019 edition, where we will be saying a fond farewell to this year's participants. The wrap event is open to all, but potential participants in the 2020 edition will find it particularly enlightening as there will be testimonials from companies and researchers who participated in the 2019 edition of 'From PhD to SME'.
