Farnsworth Revisited

Design a dwelling on the basis of the fixed interior elements of Farnsworth House designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. The interior covers about 150m². The number, design and place of the fixed interior elements cannot be altered, and the trees on the plot cannot be cut down. The number, characteristics and occupations of the imaginary occupants of the house are deduced from the given constellation of furniture.
This exercise concerns the design of a ‘skin’ around the fixed given elements, which makes living in this space and place possible and makes it qualitative.
