In the context of Europalia Arts Festival the Department of Architecture and Urban Planning (prof. Johan Lagae and PhD candidate Robby Fivez) organize an exhibition entitled Borders, Mobilities and Landscapes. Mapping railway infrastructure in (post)colonial Africa.

This exhibition will run from March 17 to April 9 2022 in VANDENHOVE. The opening of the exhibition is scheduled for March 16, 19h00 and will include keynote lectures by historian Geert Castryck, University of Leipzig, and the Kenyan Digital Humanities scholar Chao Tayiana Maina. The exhibition is linked to an international conference scheduled for March 17 at the AfricaMuseum in Tervuren. Those interested to join the opening and/or the conference are requested to register online beforehand.
