We kindly invite you to the second lecture in the series “Renovating the Belgian Building Stock by 2050”, organized in the context of ongoing advanced topics that focus on that challenge.

Next Thursday at 19:30, Prof. Laure Itard (TU Delft) will share her ideas in her presentation “Energy analytics for sustainable buildings”.
Practical details, the link, and the calender item can be found here: Building Stock: Prof. Laure Itard - Energy analytics for sustainable buildings

Prof. Laure Itard holds the chair of Building Energy Epidemiology at TU Delft. In her work she focuses on the performance analysis, diagnosis, and optimization of energy systems at the level of buildings and the building stock. With the introduction of smart meters, home automation, smart devices and BEMS, millions of datapoint are generated each day. But what can we do with that information? How can it help to tackle climate challenges? How will this trend affect the design of buildings, the use of renewable energy, and the adoption of circular construction approaches?

24th of February Prof. Johan Albrecht gave an interesting presentation that can be viewed here: Video: Building Stock Lectures - Prof. Johan Albrecht
