TechWolf selected to join the BirdHouse and wins awards on the #NLP4GOV hackathon

(07-11-2018) Startup TechWolf of students Andreas De Neve and Mikaël Wornoo and former student Jeroen Van Hautte selected to join the BirdHouse and wins awards on the #NLP4GOV hackathon.

In September, UGent computer science students Mikaël Wornoo and Andreas De Neve started a new company together with former student Jeroen Van Hautte (now at Cambridge University): TechWolf, a machine learning start-up geared towards the HR sector.

Their venture grew from the Design Project course at Ghent University, in which they developed a first version of their product, supported by fellow students Tor Mortier, Vincent Schelstraete, Toon Van de Maele, Thibaut Vermeulen and Karel Haerens. TechWolf has now been selected to join the BirdHouse, the prestigious accelerator program by Belfius.

In the coming months they will build and expand their business supported by the BirdHouse coaches and experts: http://bloo.vi/BJGJGG

Last month, they also participated at NLP4GOV, a hackathon by the Flemish Government, where they claimed both the student prize and the main prize: https://medium.com/dispatch-team/a-personality-based-approach-to-job-matching-eae5eeef488d
