library services

- The scanning service will be continued for journal articles and chapters from books from the depot collections (no scanning service on open shelves collections).

- ibl requests are handled (articles and books)

- Consultation of the collection:

  • Take a tracking number from the bulletin board. You sign in, at the desk, both when entering and leaving the library. The number of simultaneous visitors allowed in the library is limited to 28.
  •  You will have access to the shelves. Books and journals can be consulted at a predestined place on the reading room tables (12 reading places in the Large Reading Room and 5 reading places in the Silent Reading Room.)
  •  Books can be borrowed  
  •  Lockers and lockers must be used, you cannot bring your own material into the library. There is no PC available for consultation of the catalog.   
  •  Before entering the library it is mandatory to disinfect hands. During your visit you have to keep the distance of 1,5m to other visitors and staff present, and it is obligatory to wear a mouth mask when circulating in the library.

 -Books can be returned without entering the library. There is - during opening hours - a box in the entrance hall in which you can deposit books.

- The use of the reading room as a study location remains suspended.

- The Bekaert room can only be reserved via for an internal meeting or seminar. The number of persons is limited to 15.

- Opening hours: Monday to Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
