PhD student Zhan Wang arrrived in Ghent by the end of March. Zhan performs PhD research on smoke behaviour in case of fire in double-deck tunnels with transverse ventilation and water mist. It is a joint PhD with Wuhan University. His promotors at Ghent University are Tarek Beji and Bart Merci.
