New publications

Let’s start 2025 with some good news and share our most recent publications:

• Together with two co-authors, Virginie Mataigne and Tom Vanacker published a paper on ‘False signaling by platform team members and post-campaign venture outcomes: evidence from an equity crowdfunding platform’ in the Journal of Business Venturing.
• Klaas Mulier and his co-authors published a paper in Management Science on ‘Bank specialization and zombie lending’.
• Tom Vanacker published two more papers with different co-authors. One about ‘(De)centralizaed governance and the value of platform-based new ventures: the moderating role of teams and transparency’ in Small Business Economics. The other paper, published in Journal of Business Venturing, focuses on ‘Regulatory institutions and cross-country differences in high-growth entrepreneurship rates’.
