Biography

Flavia has obtained her latest Master’s degree in Microfinance at ULB in 2008, prior to that she gained a Master’s degree in Environmental Management in Pisa Istituto Superiore Sant’Anna in 2003, with a focus on Sustainability Reporting. She then began her career as a sustainability consultant and held a number of positions supporting clients, particularly in the financial industry, with their sustainability journey. Advising policy makers and supervisory authorities (EIOPA) on sustainable finance topics, Flavia today pursues a Ph.D. at Ghent University, faculty of Economics and Business Administration under the guidance of prof. Thanos Verousis. Her interests include sustainability disclosures and investor protection in life-insurance and asset management.
