Elective courses in the Master in Business Engineering - Finance - version 3

In the Master in Business Engineering - Finance - programme version 3 you can choose one or more elective courses for a total of 11 credits, spread over the first and the second year. Most students choose to take 6 credits in the first year and 5 or 6 credits in the second year. However, it is up to you to decide how you will spread these 11 credits. The only condition is that you have taken 11 credits at the end of the programme.

A detailed description (course content, teaching method, ...) of each course can be found in the Course Catalogue. Note that programme version 5 will show automatically, you can change this to programme version 3 in the left hand menu.

Below you can find a short overview of all the elective courses.

  • You can choose 11 credits from one list or from both lists.
  • Since programme version 3 is only open to students who re-enrol, you will not be able to add some of these courses. We have marked the courses in question with a '*'. If you wish to follow one of these courses, you will have to contact the programme coordinator via  to add this course manually for you.
  • Some of the courses in the lists below are modular courses, we have marked the courses in question with 'M'.  This implies that there are other deadlines to enrol or change your enrolment for these courses:

- modular courses organised in the first block of the first semester: deadline to enrol or make changes is September 30th 2020

- modular courses organised in the first block of the second semester: deadline to enrol or make changes is February 14th 2021

  • The elective course 'internship' is also strict to certain deadlines, depending on the period you wish to do the internship. Read more  about the internship.
