Economic English III - F000049

Specific course requirements

Economic English III is set at a B1 level in the Common European Framework (CEF) for language learning.

Students who did not attend the Economic English II course and pass the exam are required to take an entrance test at the start of the 2nd semester.

This test consists of two parts, a written and an oral test.

Please take note: only students who have completed and passed both parts of the test, will be allowed to take part in the course.


In Economic English III you will be dealing with business vocabulary, oral and written communication skills based on 4 topics:

Theme 1: From jobless to jobs - Climbing the corporate ladder
Theme 2: Economy ? The real mother of invention?
Theme 3: Ecology versus economy: Can you go green and still make greens?
Theme 4: The global credit crunch ? From bursting bubbles to bailouts.
