Specific course requirements

Economic English III is set at a B1 level in the Common European Framework (CEF) for language learning.

In this course you will be dealing with business vocabulary as well as oral and written communication skills based on a wide range of business topics.

 

Students who did not attend the Economic English II course and/or did not pass the exam are required to take an entrance test at the start of the 2nd semester.

This test consists of two parts, a written and an oral test.

 It takes place on Wednesday 12 February at 10 AM 

Location: campus Boekentoren, Blandijn, basement -1, room 090.036 

 

Students who wish to participate should contact Geert Jacobs via  by Monday 10 February at the latest.

Please take note: only students who have completed and passed both parts of the test, will be allowed to take part in the course.

Once the course has started, on February 12 in the afternoon, students who did not take the test will no longer be able to join, as the classes rely on group work.
